Floripa, Costão
The contest beach on the east of Florianópolis. Joaquina sits under the dunes, next to Lagoa da Conceição, on an island that treats surfing as a daily job. A former WCT venue. Costão is the rocky south corner. The banks shift. Floripa is the city. This sand is why people still say the word.

- 2. Lagoa da Conceição is the town behind the dunes. Eat there. Sleep there. The beach is a short hop.

- 4. Mole and Campeche are down the same east coast if Joaquina is a closeout.
