San Juanico, the long right

A long right at San Juanico, halfway down the Baja peninsula. Scorpion Bay is sections around a point, a dirt road, a small town that still feels like a town. You come for the wrap. You stay because the next section is still going.

November to March

Northwest swell in winter. The point holds a lot of it. A small day is still a fun wall.

1. 1. The road is the price. Do not treat this as a day trip from the cape unless you like driving.
2. 2. Walk the point and pick a section. The outside is not the only takeoff.
3. 3. Winter is the window. Summer is smaller, still a look if you are already in Baja.
4. 4. The town is small. Cash, water, and a spare tyre are not optional theatre.
